SAFE CARE PROGRAM

This is an awarded federal project grant for the prevention of child maltreatment that supports evidence-based home visitation services for high risk families.

This program utilizes the Safe Care model which is an evidence-based, parent-training curriculum in which trained professionals work with at-risk families in their home environments to improve parents’ skills in several domains (Safety, Health, Parent-Child Interaction, Managing Child Behavior and Healthy Relationships).

To qualify the family must reside in Oklahoma County, have one child 5 years-old or younger and not to have a current CPS involvement.
